Published over 50 research papers in Harmonic and Fourier Analysis, Probability Theory and Stochastic Processes, and applications of Mathematics in Biology, Medicine and Economics. Marie Curie IOF Fellow and Visiting Professor at Washington University in St Louis (2014-2017).
Recipient of the National Science Award of Croatia in 2011, of the Croatian Academy of Science and Arts Award in 2009, and of the “Andrija Mohorovičić” Award of the University of Zagreb in 2018. Recipient of the Award BRDO in 2011, 2012, 2014 (award is given by students to the best lecturer at the Department of Mathematics). Vice-president of the University Council of the University of Zagreb (2010-2014), Head of the Doctoral Program in Mathematics (2003-2011), co-founder of the Croatian Branch of “Scholars at Risk” in 2010, Croatian representative in the European Math Society and International Mathematical Union from 2000-2004.
