He is devoted to boosting University’s impact on global competitiveness and circulation of knowledge, with 18+ years of experience in top Italian universities, career development coach, Eu project management trainer.
He worked as a research proposal evaluator, Human resources strategy for research – HRS4R – lead assessor. He was also awarded Honorary Recognition for “outstanding contribution for the development and growth of the Marie Curie Alumni Association
His main achievements are, as follows: Ca’ Foscari University of Venice is now an outstanding international research hub, gathering brilliant scholars from all over the world. Bested only by Copenhagen, Cambridge and Oxford and achieving a tie with Aarhus, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice has placed top 4 in the European ranking for Marie Curie Fellowships received in call 2019. With 23 grants received, the total funding for Ca’ Foscari, the only Italian institution in the European top 10, will amount to 5,2 million euros.
The 23 Fellowships will join the 64 from previous years, reaching an impressive grand total of 87 Marie Curie Individual Fellowships, implementing the successful brain gain programme launched in 2015. In addition: 2020 Ca’ Foscari has been awarded with the only Marie Curie Cofund project funded in Italy.
