Researcher at the French CNRS specialized in wave dynamics. Multiple international post‐doc experience. Author of ≈33 scientific articles. Invited (7) / keynote (1) speaker, and organizer of thematic workshops (2) and special issues (2) in international conferences. Direct experience in national (PI of a SPINNER action) and European projects (PI of 2 MSCA and WP leader of a FET‐Open action). Actively involved in outreaching activities. Part of the Polish NCN proposal Evaluating Board, Guest Associate Editor of Frontiers and invited to the special issue « Rising Stars » in Frontiers.
HARPOCRATES concerned the conception of « smart phononic crystals for aircraft noise reduction ». The project promoted the development of new‐generation sound insulation approaches based on the phononic crystal paradigm, i.e. architected composites exhibiting unconventional dynamic properties ideally suited for controlling elastic wave propagation via the so called pass bands and band gaps, which permit and inhibit, respectively, waves to propagate within precise frequency ranges. A proof‐of‐concept device exhibiting unidirectional wave propagation has been delivered.
